The Standards View provides a powerful visual representation of student proficiency across all standards in a course. It helps you quickly spot trends, identify gaps, and create targeted assignments or small-group instruction.
How to Access the Standards View
1. Click the Standards tab
This is the third tab after Assignments and Classes.
2. Select the class you want to review
If you teach multiple content areas, select the class title from the left side menu to open the associated standard cards.
What You’ll See in the Standards View
Inside the Standards tab, you’ll see a scatter plot showing student performance on each standard. Each dot represents a student’s progress and is color-coded for quick interpretation:
Green Dots — Students who have demonstrated proficiency
Yellow Dots — Students who need more time before proficiency can be determined
Red Dots — Students who need help and may benefit from intervention or reteaching
What This View Helps You Identify
The Standards scatter plot gives you an instant snapshot of:
Standards where the class is performing well
Emerging gaps across the group
Which students need additional time or support
This makes it easier to plan reteaching, assign Practices, build small groups, or extend learning for proficient students.
