How to: Create a Quiz

Creating, customizing, and reviewing Quizzes in Edia allows you to deliver targeted instruction and monitor student performance with flexibility. This guide walks you through how to build a Quiz, select questions, and assign it to your classes.


Creating a Quiz

Quizzes can be created directly from your dashboard in just a few steps.


1. Click “Assign”

From the top-left corner of your Edia homepage, click Assign.


2. Select “Quiz”

Choose Quiz as your assignment type.


3. Click “Add” to build your question set

This is where you’ll search for and select the questions you want to include.


4. Search for content using one of three methods

By Skill Name

Type a skill such as “Two-step equations.”

By Subject Area

Browse broader content categories.

By Standard

Select your standard system—Common Core or your state’s—and search or browse to find the correct standards.


5. Add questions

Click “Add” next to any question you want to include.

You can add:

  • Multiple questions from the same skill

  • Questions from different skills

  • As many or as few questions as you like


6. Title your Quiz

Give it a clear, descriptive title, such as “Unit 3 Quiz – Expressions.”


7. Select your classes

Choose the classes that should receive this Quiz.


8. Click “Save Changes,” then “Post”

This makes the Quiz live and available to students.
