How to: Review Practice Results

This guide explains how to review Practice results using the skill summary and student-level views. Helpful for teachers analyzing proficiency, checking individual student work, and understanding overall class progress.

As soon as students begin working on a Practice, Edia automatically updates the results dashboard. This view helps you quickly understand classwide trends and drill into individual student performance.


Accessing Practice Results

1. Locate your Practice

Find the Practice in your assignments list or folder and click on it.


2. Open the Results tab

This tab displays real-time student performance data.


Understanding the Results Dashboard

The results screen is divided into two main sections:


Top Section: Skill-Based Summary

This section provides an overview of class performance across all skills included in the Practice.

You’ll see how many students are:

  • Proficient

  • Partially Proficient

  • Not Started

Click any skill name to view deeper insights, including which students have mastered or struggled with that skill.


Bottom Section: Student-Level Detail

Below the skill summary, you’ll find a detailed breakdown for each student, organized by class period.

When you click a student’s name, you can view:

  • Which skills they’ve attempted

  • Each question and their submitted answers

  • Visual indicators of their progress

Visual Indicators:

  • Green check — Correct

  • Red X — Incorrect

  • Yellow bar — Incomplete

  • Green bar — All skills completed


Hover Features

Hover over indicators to reveal more detail:

  • Preview exact questions and student answers

  • View total time spent on the Practice

  • Get quick context without opening the full student view


Why This Matters

These tools allow you to:

  • Assess understanding at a glance

  • Identify who needs reteaching or targeted Practice

  • Dive deeply into student thinking and strategy

  • Track progress across skills and time
