Attendance threshold rules can now automatically trigger SART actions — sending a SART letter, sending a SARB letter, or scheduling a SART meeting — all without manual intervention. When thresholds are crossed, Edia opens or escalates a case, sends the letter or books the meeting, and logs everything to the case timeline.

Why it matters: Districts can codify their entire tiered attendance intervention process — from first warning letter through SARB escalation — so no student falls through the cracks due to manual oversight.

SART/SARB meeting invitations are now sent via SMS in addition to email. Guardians and staff with a phone number on file receive a text message with meeting details, and the system respects opt-out preferences.

Why it matters: Families who don't check email regularly will still get timely meeting notifications, improving show rates for attendance review meetings.

Multiple fixes to the SART meeting scheduling flow, including better handling of recurring availability slots, time-zone-aware slot selection, and more reliable auto-pick logic for finding the earliest open meeting time.

Why it matters: Scheduling meetings is faster and more reliable, reducing back-and-forth for attendance teams coordinating with families.

Admins can now control whether parents are allowed to reschedule SART/SARB meetings. When rescheduling is disabled, the parent confirmation page shows a "contact your school" message instead of a reschedule button.

Why it matters: Gives districts flexibility — some want to empower parents to self-reschedule, while others need tighter control over mandatory hearing dates.

The intervention creation experience has been significantly upgraded with several new capabilities.

A built-in template library now includes 20+ research-backed templates spanning Attendance, Academic (Reading and Math), Behavior, and Social-Emotional categories — each with suggested goals, steps, and tier levels.

Predefined goal metrics let staff choose from standard measures — attendance rate, AIMSweb ORF, behavior incidents, GPA, and more — with smart defaults, or create fully custom goals with a custom label, unit, and direction.

A new progress monitoring chart displays data points over time, an aimline from baseline to target, and a goal reference line so staff can see at a glance whether a student is on track.

Adaptive pathway auto-defaults now auto-fill the subject and topic based on the student's grade and target skill when selecting Edia's Adaptive Math Pathway plan.

Why it matters: Intervention planning goes from a blank-slate manual process to a guided, template-driven workflow with built-in progress monitoring — saving staff time and bringing consistency across the district.

A new Automations Log page shows every automated action Edia has taken — emails sent, SMS messages delivered, letters generated, SART letters sent, and meetings scheduled. The log is searchable, sortable, and filterable by action type, rule, and recipient, with a detail modal to preview the exact message content.

Why it matters: District and school staff now have full visibility into what automations are doing on their behalf — critical for accountability, auditing, and troubleshooting.

Each student profile now includes an Automation Log section showing every automation that has fired for that student, with date, action type, rule details, and recipient — expandable to see the full message.

Why it matters: When reviewing an individual student's case, staff can instantly see the complete history of automated outreach without digging through email or SMS logs.

The Daily Attendance view and Conversations page now support filtering by Attendance Monitor and Conduct Admin. Two new dropdown filters let you scope the view to just your caseload.

Why it matters: In larger schools, staff can quickly zero in on the students they're responsible for, rather than scrolling through the entire school roster.

This week's content release adds new interactive problem types for elementary students.

Shape Fill Puzzles — Drag-and-drop exercises where students fill outlines with pattern block shapes, building geometric reasoning.

Number Line Tap — An interactive number line where students tap to count forward or backward, with animated jump arcs showing each step.

Tracing Context Images — 25+ new real-world context images for shape-tracing exercises.

Resolved an issue with Skyward Qmlativ districts where OneRoster source IDs were being matched incorrectly, which could cause student records to not sync properly.

Why it matters: Districts using Skyward as their SIS will see more reliable student data syncing, reducing missing or mismatched records.

SFTP Dedup Fix — Fixed an edge case where a stray character in SFTP attendance file dedup keys could cause duplicate attendance records to be imported.

SART Section Gating — The SART section on student profiles now correctly hides for districts and schools that don't have SART enabled.

Background Pipeline Fixes — Corrected execution issues for several background processing pipelines — analytics, intervention emails, and threshold checks — to ensure reliable operation.
