Week of April 20–26, 2026

This release introduces intervention template usage stats, expands language support to Ilocano, and improves SIS sync reliability across multiple platforms.

🛡️ Interventions

Intervention Template Usage Stats

When viewing intervention templates, district admins now see usage statistics including total interventions created from a template, how many students are currently active, and the template's success rate based on goals met vs. completed.

Why it matters: Admins can make data-driven decisions about which intervention strategies are working best, and invest in the templates that drive real outcomes.

📅 Attendance

Cleaner Conversation History

The attendance Conversations tab now automatically filters out messages from before the current school year started.

Why it matters: Staff see only relevant, current-year conversations — no more scrolling past outdated messages from last year to find what matters now.

Faster Attendance Pages

Attendance pages now load significantly faster by optimizing how student and teacher data is fetched.

Why it matters: Staff working in large schools experience snappier page loads, especially on the daily attendance and contacts pages.

More Reliable SIS Syncs

Increased timeout limits for Aeries, eSchoolData, OneRoster, and PowerSchool integrations, plus optimized Aeries attendance queries.

Why it matters: Districts with large datasets or slower SIS connections experience fewer sync timeouts and more complete data imports.

🌍 Accessibility & Language

Ilocano Language Support

Ilocano is now available as a student language option for translated math problems.

Why it matters: Ilocano-speaking students can access math content in their home language, supporting multilingual learners and improving comprehension.

📊 Dashboard & Analytics

Grade Trends Data Fix

Resolved an issue where grade trend data could be incomplete for districts with students enrolled at multiple schools.

Why it matters: District admins see accurate, complete grade trend charts across all schools — critical for district-wide academic monitoring.

Grades Page Fixes

Fixed display issues on the Grades analytics page, improving data accuracy for new district launches.

Why it matters: Districts onboarding to the Edia Dashboard see correct academic data from day one.

🔧 Data & Integrations

Duplicate SIS School ID Warnings

Admins are now warned when multiple schools are mapped to the same SIS School ID, which can cause data routing issues.

Why it matters: Proactive alerts help IT admins catch configuration mistakes before they impact attendance or enrollment data.

SFTP Contact Phone Number Fix

Fixed an issue where family contact phone numbers with newer area codes — assigned after 2021 — were silently dropped during SFTP imports.

Why it matters: Families with newer phone numbers now receive attendance notifications as expected — no more missed outreach due to unrecognized area codes.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Clever Sync Stability — Teachers are no longer logged out when a Clever token expires; the error is now handled gracefully.

AI Chat Saving — Fixed an issue where student AI coaching chats were not being saved correctly during assignments.

Dashboard Navigation — Fixed unresponsive navigation buttons in the teacher and student dashboard.

Dashboard Avatars — User avatars now display initials correctly when no profile photo is available.

Student Profile Routing — Fixed a routing issue that could prevent student profiles from loading in the district dashboard.
