📅 Attendance
"Do Not Contact" Controls
A complete Do Not Contact (DNC) workflow is now available in the attendance conversation view. Staff can flag a contact as Do Not Contact, immediately blocking all automated AI outreach to that contact. Manual messages can still be sent when needed. DNC status is visible in the contacts table with a timestamp, and DNC events appear in the conversation timeline for a full audit history.
Why it matters: Gives attendance teams precise control over family communications — honoring opt-out requests while preserving the ability to reach out manually in urgent situations.
Improved Attendance Conversation Translations
Attendance conversation messages now translate more accurately and reliably for Spanish-speaking families, with improved handling of AI-generated and staff-written messages.
Why it matters: Ensures multilingual families receive clear, natural-sounding communications, leading to better engagement and fewer misunderstandings.
Tardy Tracking in Student Data
Tardy counts are now included in student profiles and reports alongside absence data.
Why it matters: Staff get a more complete picture of attendance patterns — not just who's absent, but who's consistently arriving late.
🤖 AI Features
AI Math Tutor Translation Improvements
The AI math chat tutor now delivers smoother, more accurate translations for Spanish-speaking students.
Why it matters: Students working in Spanish get a more natural tutoring experience, reducing confusion and keeping them focused on learning math.
📊 Dashboard & Analytics
Dashboard Sparkline Improvements
The sparkline mini-charts on the district dashboard now display improved data ranges and more helpful tooltips on hover.
Why it matters: District admins can scan key metrics at a glance with clearer trend lines and more informative hover details — making it faster to spot what needs attention.
Interventions Now Reflected in Dashboard Metrics
The district dashboard now includes data from the latest intervention system in its summary queries and sparkline cards.
Why it matters: Dashboard metrics now give a complete picture of intervention activity across the district — no more gaps between older and newer intervention data.
📚 Academics
Expanded Benchmark Support
Additional benchmark assessment configurations are now supported, allowing more districts to view and compare benchmark results within Edia.
Why it matters: Districts using external benchmark assessments can now see that data inside Edia's dashboard alongside other academic metrics — one place for the full student performance picture.
🔧 Admin & Setup
Bulk Admin Import via CSV
District admins can now import multiple administrator and staff accounts at once by uploading a CSV file, with a review step before finalizing.
Why it matters: Onboarding dozens of campus admins, counselors, or staff no longer requires adding them one by one — saving significant setup time at the start of the year or during rollouts.
