📚 Content & Problem Types
New Interactive Problem Types
This week's content release adds several new hands-on problem formats for elementary math:
Pictograph Builder — Students sort and classify scattered objects into a pictograph by tapping items into the correct category rows.
Picture Graphs — Interactive picture graphs with tap-to-count support, tally marks, and animated counting.
Marshmallow & Toothpick Shape Builder — A drag-and-snap geometry manipulative where students build 2D shapes from marshmallows and toothpicks.
Grouped Icons with Tap-to-Count — Enhanced grouped visual displays with per-group counting, animation, and flexible layouts.
Table & Graph Improvements — Updated table charts and graph rendering for cleaner display of data problems.
Why it matters: Younger students get richer, more tactile digital math experiences — moving beyond simple answer boxes to problem types that mirror how they learn with physical manipulatives.
📅 Attendance & Outreach
Skyward Qmlativ Integration
Edia now supports full two-way attendance integration with Skyward Qmlativ SIS, including attendance sync, calendar and schedule import, attendance code mapping, and writeback.
Why it matters: Districts using Skyward Qmlativ can now connect their SIS to Edia's attendance platform — unlocking automated outreach, reporting, and intervention workflows without manual data entry.
Smarter "Unresponsive" Contact Detection
The unresponsive contact indicator now counts from the last successfully delivered message rather than the last sent message. The conversations list is also paginated for better performance.
Why it matters: Staff see a more accurate picture of which families haven't responded — messages that failed to deliver no longer falsely trigger the unresponsive flag, so outreach efforts stay focused where they're needed.
Improved Attendance Data Sync Reliability
Several improvements to attendance data syncing across SIS platforms: Aeries now handles multi-district configurations more reliably, Aequitas Q handles duplicate records gracefully, the OneRoster sync timeout has been extended for larger districts, Clever roster syncs have been reactivated, and previously deleted Aeries students are now properly included.
Why it matters: Districts experience fewer sync hiccups — attendance data flows more reliably from your SIS into Edia, keeping dashboards and outreach up to date.
📊 Dashboard & Analytics
Bluebonnet Curriculum Support
Added full Bluebonnet curriculum showcase with TEKS standards alignment and module and topic organization.
Why it matters: Texas districts using the Bluebonnet curriculum can now browse and assign content organized exactly the way their curriculum maps are structured.
🐛 Bug Fixes
Daily Attendance Heatmap Fixed — The attendance map was incorrectly showing all students as present; it now correctly color-codes by attendance status.
Benchmark "Unknown Season" Error Resolved — Fixed an error that could appear when viewing math benchmarks caused by unrecognized season data.
Bluebonnet Standards ID Normalization — Fixed standards mapping issues where compact IDs weren't resolving to their canonical TEKS form.
Client Crash Fixes — Resolved several edge-case crashes in the student practice view, worksheet display, and markup rendering.
