🛡️ Interventions
Domain-Aware Intervention Types
Interventions are now categorized into domains — Attendance, Academics, and Behavior/SEL — that align with staff permissions. When creating an intervention, the type you select (Academic, Behavioral, Attendance, Social-Emotional, Health, or Family) determines which dashboard domain it appears under.
Why it matters: Staff members now only see interventions relevant to their role — attendance teams see attendance interventions, academic coaches see academic ones. This keeps caseloads focused and reduces noise.
Smarter AI-Suggested Interventions for Period Attendance
Fixed an issue where AI-suggested interventions weren't correctly evaluating period-level attendance patterns, such as a student missing the same class repeatedly.
Why it matters: Districts using period-by-period attendance tracking will now receive more accurate, targeted intervention suggestions — catching patterns like a student skipping 3rd period specifically, not just daily absences.
📅 Attendance & SIS Integrations
Improved Attendance Sync Reliability
Attendance data syncs have been moved to a more robust pipeline architecture, improving reliability and error handling for all SIS integrations.
Why it matters: Fewer sync hiccups mean attendance data is more consistently up to date across all views — from dashboards to automated family outreach.
🤖 AI Features
AI Analyst Fair-Use Guardrails
The AI Analyst chat now includes a daily usage allowance of 500 queries per user to ensure reliable performance across the district.
Why it matters: This keeps the AI Analyst fast and responsive for everyone — even during peak usage periods like report-card season or state testing windows.
📚 Academics & Content
Florida BEST K–5 Math Standards Tagging
All K–5 math practice content has been tagged to the Florida BEST (Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking) standards framework.
Why it matters: Florida districts using Edia for elementary math now get standards-aligned assignments, diagnostics, and proficiency reporting that match their state framework — no manual mapping needed.
🐛 Bug Fixes
Intervention Creation Fixed — Resolved an issue that could prevent new interventions from being created in certain workflows.
Accepting Suggested Interventions on Student Profiles — Fixed a bug where clicking Accept on an AI-suggested intervention from a student's profile page could fail silently.
Unified Interventions View — Corrected a data-loading issue that could cause the combined interventions list to display incorrectly.
