🛡️ Interventions
Create Interventions from Student Profile
You can now launch a new intervention directly from any student's profile page, without navigating away.
Why it matters: Staff can act in the moment — spot a concern on a student's profile and immediately create an intervention plan, reducing the steps and time between identification and action.
Create Interventions from the Students Table
A new Create Intervention option is available directly from the math students table, including support for multi-select.
Why it matters: Teachers reviewing class-wide data can now select one or more at-risk students and start interventions in bulk, right from their roster view.
Streamlined Interventions List View
The Interventions page now defaults to a clean, filterable list view for faster scanning and management.
Why it matters: A simpler, list-first layout makes it quicker to review your full caseload, filter by status or assignee, and take action — especially for staff managing many students.
📅 Attendance
A/B Block Schedule Support
Edia now correctly handles cycle day metadata for schools that run A/B or rotating block schedules, ensuring period-level attendance is mapped to the right day.
Why it matters: Districts with alternating block schedules will see accurate period-level attendance tracking — no more mismatched or missing period data on rotation days.
Daily Attendance Mode Toggle Restored
Admins at qualifying districts can once again switch between daily and period-level attendance modes from school settings.
Why it matters: Gives district admins the flexibility to choose the attendance tracking mode that best fits their school's reporting needs.
📚 Academics
Improved Study Pathway Progress Tracking
Enhancements have been made to how student skill completion is recorded and carried forward in adaptive study pathways, including better snapshot history.
Why it matters: Students' progress through adaptive pathways is tracked more reliably, ensuring they pick up exactly where they left off and never lose credit for skills already mastered.
Graphing Calculator Update
The built-in graphing calculator has been updated to the latest version.
Why it matters: Students get a more polished and reliable graphing experience when working on problems that involve graphs and visual tools.
📱 Student Experience
Better Touch & Tablet Activity Tracking
Activity detection on touch devices (iPads and tablets) during assignments and quizzes has been improved, now tracking pointer and touch events more accurately.
Why it matters: Students working on tablets will have their active time recorded more accurately, reducing false idle flags and ensuring engagement data reflects reality.
🔧 Data & Integrations
Wider Student Number Support
Student ID numbers up to 128 characters are now fully supported.
Why it matters: Districts using longer or alphanumeric student identifiers no longer risk data truncation — all student IDs sync and match correctly.
Improved SIS Student Matching
For districts using SFTP-based data transfers, student records now match on the SIS identifier field for more reliable linking.
Why it matters: Reduces student matching errors during data imports, meaning fewer missing records and more complete attendance and enrollment data.
