Once students complete a Quiz, Edia provides detailed class-wide and student-level data to help you understand performance, identify misconceptions, and make informed instructional decisions.
Accessing Quiz Results
1. Open the Quiz
Find the Quiz in your class list or folder and click on it.
2. Click the Results tab
This tab displays your full results dashboard.
Question-by-Question Breakdown
At the top of the results page, you'll see a visual summary of how students performed on each question.
What you can view:
Percentage of students who answered each question correctly
A breakdown of correct vs. incorrect responses
Difficulty or common misconceptions based on trends
Click a question to view:
Individual student answers
Any work students submitted
The correct answer for comparison
Adjusting Point Values (Partial Credit)
You can manually update scores for individual students:
Click the student’s score next to the question
Update the value (e.g., change 0/1 to 0.5/1)
Save the change
This is especially useful when students show valid reasoning or partial work.
Student-Level View
Scroll down to see each student’s overall performance.
For each student you can view:
Overall score
Individual responses
Status (completed, in progress, late, etc.)
Click a student’s name to open their full submission, including:
Their answers vs. the correct answers
Time spent on the Quiz
Lockdown activity log (if enabled)
All attempts if retries were allowed—helpful for tracking improvement
Resetting a Quiz Attempt
If a student needs to restart the Quiz:
Open the student’s result
Click the three-dot menu (⋮)
Select Reset Quiz
Resetting clears all previous responses and scores.
Students can retake the Quiz as long as it remains within the active window (before the due date or within the late submission period).
