This guide explains how to access district-shared assignments in the District Folder, make copies for your classes, and understand which settings are locked. Helpful for teachers using district-distributed Practices, Quizzes, or Assessments in Edia.

Accessing and Using District-Shared Content

Your district may share common assignments, assessments, or instructional materials that appear in your District Folder. These resources help ensure consistency across classrooms and can be easily copied and assigned to your students.

How to Access District-Shared Materials

1. Locate your District Folder

From your homepage, look for the schoolhouse icon labeled with your district’s name.

2. Open the folder to view available resources

Inside, you’ll find district-created content such as:

  • Practices

  • Quizzes

  • Assessments

Using Practices and Quizzes

  • Click any Practice or Quiz to preview it.

  • Select “Make a Copy” before assigning. This ensures you can edit and adjust settings for your class.

  • After customizing, assign the copied version to your class and click Post.

District Assessments

Assessments (marked with a blue icon) include district-set settings designed to preserve test security. These may include:

  • Locked settings

  • Anti-cheating protections

  • Restricted editing permissions

These settings cannot be changed, but you can assign the assessment directly to your students.

What Happens After Students Complete Assessments?

Assessment results are automatically shared with your district administrators.
You do not need to export or send results separately.
