Practice Settings and Customization
Practices come with a robust set of settings that allow you to tailor the Practice experience by class, by student, and by instructional need.
Here’s a breakdown of the most useful settings:
Assign to Classes or Individual Students: You can assign the Practice to an entire class or customize it per student using the dropdown next to each class name.
Post and Due Dates: Choose exact times (in 15-minute increments or typed manually) to control when Practices open and close.
Accept Late Work: Toggle this on and select a new deadline beyond the original due date to allow late submissions.
Calculator Options: Choose between four-function, scientific, or graphing calculators depending on the assignment's complexity.
Anti-Cheating Tools:
Lockdown Mode: Keeps the Practice in full-screen and alerts teachers if a student navigates away.
Folder Organization: Use the folder icon to add the Practice to a folder for better organization.
Always remember to click “Update” in the top-right corner after making changes.
